Book Release Calendar

Oh my goodness, I have a new obsession: adding titles to the Book Release Calendar. Up until last week, I recorded forthcoming titles in a private Google document. I was not very good about updating it, though. I always remember the release dates for books advertised around my school library, in bathrooms (yes, I advertise in every bathroom), and in the foyer. I have a rule in my school library: if a book is advertised somewhere in the school, it is entered in the library catalog and ready for holds. I welcome holds. I love holds. Holds rock! The books advertised around the school always stick in my head. Like clockwork, you will find me every Tuesday at Anderson’s Bookshop buying new books.
With the new Book Release Calendar, I will never forgot a much-anticipated release. I hope you find it useful. Happy Reading!
(Note: I am still adding to the
calendar.)
*Make sure you click on the title to learn more about the book.

This is great! Thank you for doing this!
Thank you! I hope you find it useful.
I am so excited about this! Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you SO much for this amazing calendar!
Absolutely love this. I too have trouble keeping up with all the new release dates. The students are often ahead of me asking for a favorite so I will be checking it every Monday night to see if I need to make a visit to The Book Stall our local indie. THANK YOU! Oh and BTW we starting advertising in the bathrooms and over the drinking fountains after I saw your post a while back on your blog. You continue to inspire Mr. Schu!
LOVE it thanks. And what? What is that I see? New Bad Kitty on the way?
I am very excited about Bad Kitty for President and Babymouse for President. Cat vs. Mouse? 🙂
Thank you, Lisa! I’m glad you support your local independent bookshop. I love Anderson’s.
I love it! And I am totally stealing your idea about advertising in bathrooms! I’m breaking the news to my classes today. After all, they have become the experts on good books in our school, so they will have fun creating the ads! It might just result in some extra RR passes for some!
🙂 🙂
Thank you! 🙂
I need to know…. Where do you get the money to buy so many books? And do the trade bindings hold up for you? I buy library bindings and, even then, I have to repair books often. I do love the calendar! It will help me stay on top of these new releases…thank you!
I will not purchase all of the books on the calendar. Do I want to read every book on the calendar? Absolutely! 🙂
