Poll: YOUR Top Ten Books of 2013 (So Far)
We’re a little better than halfway through 2013 and so you may have seen people posting lists of reading highlights so far this year.
We thought it would be fun to see what the Nerdy Book Club would pick as their own reading highlights for 2013 (so far).
Give it some thought, check your reading notes if you have to, and leave your list in the comments.
And don’t forget to come back and see everyone else’s lists, too!
I had to do this very quickly (because it was so hard to choose and I kept changing my mind!) so that I keep it to 10, and some of my favorites are not on the list:(

I am currently reading Eleanor and Park. As I scrolled down to leave my reply, I saw the book on several lists.
I am also participating in Sarah’s YA Lit 101 and have yet to read books such as Code Name Verity and The Summer Prince. I also got a copy of The Real Boy at ALA and will be reading it soon due to the hype.
Sooooooo many books!
Since I saw Rump on many lists, I ran right out to the library to check it out this morning!! I’ll let you know if it makes my Top 10. Also as soon as my 11-year old daughter is finished reading Center of Everything, it’s totally mine.
I also wasn’t sure if we were doing “2013 Books” only or if it was more “Anything Goes” for this list. If we’re on Anything Goes, then faves I read this year would be:
Doll Bones, The Tao of Martha (grown up book/memoir by Jen Lancaster), Hokey Pokey, Follow Follow – A Book of Reverso Poems, Looking for Alaska (yes, finally catching up on books I never got around to reading), October Mourning (hugged this book when I finished it), Kakapo Rescue and Book Love.

A Year Down Yonder
A Season of Gifts
Anne of Windy Poplars
Anne’s House of Dreams
