POLL: What’s Your Favorite Snow Day Reading?

Ever since I was a kid, I have always seen snow days as an excuse to curl up with a blanket and a book. Snow men and sledding were for people who didn’t mind being cold and wet. I preferred going to go somewhere else for a while and live beyond my snowbound reality.

As my Facebook and Twitter feeds fill up again with posts about snowfall amounts and icy trees and projected totals and school cancellations, I’m thinking about what books to read next.

I know that not everyone who reads at Nerdy Book Club gets to experience snow days or ice days or any of those unplanned, unscheduled breaks from school and work, but you can at least appreciate the experience of those things from reading about them in books.

So what titles do you think of when you think of snow day reading?
